Stirling & Cara Fackrell Ashdon & Samantha Fackrell
In January to June 2020, Stirling, Ashdon and Samantha Fackrell served a six month humanitarian mission in the Dominican Republic and they came home forever changed. While there, they worked with the local people, helped to build 6 homes, taught English, taught a piano program, painted, did murals, and many other things! Their family came out to pick them up and upon arrival home they planned their next trip to Dominican Republic. On their next adventure to Dominican Stirling met Cara McAffee, who had done a Humanitarian Program in Dominican. Eventually, Stirling & Cara's Dominican love blossomed and they were married. Their love for the people combined with a yearning to give service culminated in bringing their first youth group to the Dominican Republic in 2022 and thus RAIN Humanitarian was born.
